Carry-Lite offers a comprehensive service for your baggage between your daily stops releasing you to walk freely along St Cuthbert's Way without the burden of a heavy pack. We will collect your bags after you have left to enjoy a day's walk and deliver it to your next chosen place of accommodation ready for your arrival.

The cost of baggage transfer
The cost of baggage transfer between Melrose and Lindisfarne is:

£8 per bag per stage for 2 bags, £6 per bag per stage for 3 bags and £5 per bag per stage for 4 or more bags.
Minimum of 2 bags per party.
Discounts are available for parties of more than 6.
No minimum or maximum number of stages.

Costs are per item up to 30lbs (14kgs).

Note: If you are using a rucksack, please make sure that any pots, pans, sleeping bags, tents, etc...are securely attached.


How to book
Due to technical problems please do NOT use the on-line booking form, just e-mail your details to info@carrylite.co.uk and we will then contact you with the total cost of your baggage transfer for your walk. After receiving payment we will then send you written confirmation.
